2026 NCLL

North Canton Little League runs age-appropriate divisions of play based on the Little League age chart, which can be found here: LL Age Chart

Rookies Division: Coach-Pitch for players ages 7 and 8.

Minors Division: Entry-level kid pitch for players ages 9 and 10.

Majors Division: Regular baseball for ages 11 and 12.

When you enter your child's date of birth, your division will be selected automatically based on the Little League age chart.

Juniors is baseball on our full-sized 60/90 (field 8) for players 13-14. For Junior registration, please get in touch with Todd Evans at [email protected]

The 2026 season calendar can be found here. The regular season runs from late March (weather permitting) to late June. There is also the potential for All-Star games for some players continuing through July 2026.

If you register between November 15, 2025 and February 1, 2026, no late fee will be imposed. Beginning February 2, 2025, $25 will be added to the fees below. The last day to register is March 2, 2026.

Fees per player are: $100 for Rookies and $160 for Minors and Majors.

If you wish to be the Head Coach (Manager) or help coach (Assistant), you MUST choose that role when registering your child and complete the questionnaire for a background check online.

We have an interview process for Minor and Major coaches, every coach, every year is interviewed. You will also be subject to a background check and must complete it before coaching. No one can coach without undergoing a background check; all coaches, both new and returning, are required to submit to a background check annually. If you help at practice or games, you must have a background check, with no exceptions.

There is no "playing up" at North Canton Little League. Your child must register for the division that corresponds to their age. On a case-by-case basis, we allow children to play down a division. This is intended for children new to baseball who may be behind their peers in development. If you wish your child to play down a division, please register your child in the division he could play in and contact the league at [email protected]. There is no discount if they play down in a division that has lower fees than the age-specified division.

No player who meets one or more of the following criteria will be placed on any team without attending one of the 2 workout sessions we offer. Those two sessions are scheduled for February 28, 11:30 am - 1:30 pm (primary) and March 7, 12:00 - 1:00 pm (makeup) at Velocity Sports (7530 Tim Ave NW, North Canton, OH 44720). These are not tryouts; they are evaluations that help us balance the teams in each division. An email will be sent with the arrival time as we approach the date. You should be in and out of Velocity quickly.
