NORTH CANTON LITTLE LEAGUE

Content

North Canton was granted a charter to begin to play under the Little League umbrella in 1948; the very first Little League charter granted west of the Allegheny Mountains. The first Little League game ever played in Ohio featured a North Canton team - two days of rain washed out other contests that had been scheduled, allowing North Canton to claim that honor.

The League is run by an all volunteer board for the North Canton Community. Any child that wishes to play baseball ages 7-12 and lives or attends school in the North Canton school district (including St. Paul's) is eligible to play.
